Navy SEAL Tumilson’s best friend to the end

More than 1,000 people attending the funeral of Jon Tumilson were witness to the hero’s dog refusing to leave his side.

Petty Officer Tumilson was among those killed when their CH-47 Chinook helicopter was shot down during a mission to aid an Army Ranger unit in Afghanistan.

Laying down beside his masters casket, Hawkeye refuses to leave his friend.

The U.S.Navy provided military honors for one of our Country’s true American hero’s. My heart goes out to Jon’s family and friends.

When I first saw the video, my heart dropped to my knees. The saddest display of emotions ever, and the most honorable display of loyalty. Wonderful post.
