Smoke 51 Electronic Cigarette

in Quit Smoking

Smoke 51 is another electronic cigarette kit that I had purchased after my disappointing results with another brand. I found smoke 51 at one of the local tobacco shops, after talking with a friend.

The smoke 51 is a two piece system, unlike the previous e-cig kit which was a three piece system. What exactly does this mean? The atomizer is built into the nicotine cartridge, so it gets replaced with each new nicotine cartridge.

I was excited to try out my newest e-cig purchase, especially after the praise I was hearing about it from my friend.

The Smoke 51 electronic cigarette starter kit I chose was ‘The Duo’. The Duo came with two batteries, two 12 mg nicotine cartridges, a home charger, and manual.

I have been using this e-cigarette now for two days, and feel I can give an honest opinion of its performance. All in all, I am very pleased with the Smoke 51 e-cigarettes! So here is my breakdown of the Smoke 51.

Smoke 51 Battery

Like all the other e-cigarette kits, the smoke 51 is operated by Lithium Ion batteries. This kit came with two! Because it came with two batteries, I wasn’t left having to purchase my American Spirits because of a dead battery. I have found that two batteries, no matter the brand, is a must. Each lasted approximately half a day.

Smoke 51 Nicotine/Atomizer

The smoke 51 atomizer is constructed with the nicotine cartridges, so it is always ‘fresh.’ There was always plenty of vapor mist! It really comes close to giving the impression you are puffing on the real thing. Not once did I find myself straining to get the vapor mist to produce…not until the nicotine cartridge had depleted itself, that is. I am very happy!

One caveat, the nicotine I received did seem to be a little harsh, especially when compared to Green Smoke, which I will be reviewing in the future. My kit came with the tobacco flavored 12mg nicotine. With Smoke 51 you can choose from 0mg, 4mg, 6mg, 8mg, 12mg, and 16mg in tobacco or menthol flavor. I found that one nicotine cartridge is approximately the same as one pack of regular cigarettes. On their website, they claim to be equivalent to two packs, but I think more closer to one.

Smoke 51 Price

This was the real surprise with me! I had paid only $64.93, tax included. Much better price than my last e-cig kit purchase, and it came with two batteries. But guess what? After cruising the smoke 51 website, I learned that the online price for the exact kit is $149.95. What the?!? Go figure, if you decide to try the smoke 51 brand electronic cigarette, check your local tobacco shops first.

Smoke 51 Summary

I am more than happy with my experience with Smoke 51, especially at the price I paid. I don’t know why there is such a large difference in price between the local smoke shop and the online price. I definitely recommend anyone that is thinking of electronic cigarettes to give Smoke 51 a try.

One thing I have learned is to stay away from ANY online FREE trial offers. The reason is because most will begin charging your card after a short period of time, usually 10 days, and convert to a revolving, monthly charge. As with any purchase, be sure to read the fine print.

Check back as I will be giving Green Smoke, Knight Stick, and Blu a puff and review soon.

Have you tried electronic cigarettes? What’s your experience, what brands do you like or dislike? Let us know!

I’m not quite sure what to say, not being a smoker and all, but I really hope that these do the job.

Its a good thing to note that electronic cigarettes may in fact come with a risk of some side effects like a sore throat, headache, dry mouth and bad after-taste. In the scheme of things, this seems like a small price to pay to finally be able to successfully quit smoking and to be able to avoid the dangerous risk of lung cancer to ourselves and others.

Not a smoker, but our son is. He is trying some sort of a program next week. I’ll ask him if he knows anything about these e-cigs. I hadn’t until your posts! Interesting ~ wishin’ you all the best. -Tammy

All ~ I am really excited about the performance of some of these electronic cigarettes. All are available online, with some being offered through local smoke shops and kiosks. Just like anything though, I have found some disappointing, while others are pretty good.

Haven’t quite gotten this far, however, I have bookmarked a few pages. However, I am using Aeros smokless “plastic” sticks, but they seem to give nothing more than a supper charged rush of nicotine. Something similar to smoking and inhaling a cigar without the smoke. Maybe will give this product a whirl. At the point, where I have to stop, no iffs ands or Butts!
