FREE Sony TV

The Sony KDS-R60XBR1 is one of the BEST TV’s around…when it’s working, that is!

I purchased mine back in 2006 like most, only to have to suffer through a green hulk-a-mania tint overlaying the entire screen after a couple good years.

You see, the Sony XBR1 and XBR2 television sets suffer from a defective part, the optical block. This has been an ongoing problem for the folks at Sony for, well, since the introduction of this series. All kinds of wacko things can occur; from blue or green tint, to green or blue blobs!

What is Sony doing now to keep from losing the bulk of its customers that have no problem shelling out $5,000.00 for a TV? If you own one of these, read on…your gonna like the news.

Check out the following link if you own one of these TV sets, OR own a similar model. Sony is offering owners of these huge discounts towards a new LCD TV and some FREE.

Forum that discusses the Sony XBR series exchange program

My offer was to pick from one of the following Sony choices:

  1. KDL55HX701 - $550.00 + local sales tax
  2. KDL55EX501 - $350.00 + local sales tax
  3. KDL46VE5 - NO CHARGE

The best part about the Sony exchange program is that you get to KEEP your old model, all you have to do is send in the model/serial number sticker from the back.

STOP if you have a Sony KDS-R60XBR1, KDS-R50XBR1, or the XBR2 series televisions and are looking to sell!

I have noticed a lot of activity on Craigslist where people are LOOKING to buy these sets for “parts“, believe me, they are only after the sticker to get in on the exchange! So beware if you are selling…FIRST CALL SONY FOR YOUR FREE TV.

I am soooo loving your new look around here! I don’t speak TV so I’ll just comment that I love the “about” tab.

So handsome…shew.

I’m a guy, so I will go with the most expensive and technically advanced one of course! The HX701.

Well, I have a Sony that looks just like that one…Finally got behind it and the model # starts off with a KF…although it Has had that green tint thing happen once or twice over the years…
Guess that won’t work…

I see a pretty beach, on a t.v. screen…and then I got lost in the beach, dreaming about a pina colada….

Anyway – I see my lil link over there where I flip off an entire country. Thanks honey!
