I found cowboy music while at the annual art festival in Richland, WA, Art in the Park. His name is Joe Winters and he plays acoustical guitar.
Joe was strumming a tune from his collection of original country or folk type compositions when I was suddenly drawn to his booth. He had 2 CD’s to choose from, his latest Harmony Street and Distant Memories.
If you like instrumental guitar, you will love the songs from Joe, and yea…it’s cowboy music! I asked Joe to play one of his tunes from his Distant Memories collection, which he readily obliged with Badlands. Half way through the song, I purchased this CD and have been playing it since. By the way, Badlands is my favorite tune!
Like I said, if you like original acoustical guitar in country or folk compositions, do yourself a favor and check out Joe Winters collection of original “cowboy music”, you won’t regret it!
You can go to Joe’s site to take a look for yourself, he provides a couple songs on his site for you to get a feel for his music. I get absolutely nothing for putting his link here, but I really enjoy his music, and think many others will also.
