Chupacabra Found

The illusive chupacabra has apparently been captured in Blanco Texas, of all places. The chupacabra, which means Goat Sucker, has been allegedly spotted in places ranging from Russia to Maine to the Philippines.

Jerry Ayer, the owner of Blanco Taxidermy School, is in possession of the mythical beast’s body. The chupacabra was discovered by one of Ayer’s students according to CNN. The animal was captured by the student because he had “placed poison…to catch an unidentified animal that had gotten into a family member’s barn.” Little did he know the animal has turned out to be the chupacabra, (maybe).

In this video from CNN some of the unusual features of the chupacabra are pointed out, including abnormally long legs and teeth. Looking more like an ugly dog, could this strange looking animal really be the famed chupacabra?

Ayer’s plans on preserving the animal and then donate it to a local museum so it can be enjoyed by others. After watching the video, it is this humble cowboy’s opinion that this is NOT a chupacabra. Why do I feel this way? Because the chupacabra does not exist…that’s why!

What do you think? Is this a chupacabra? Have you ever seen a chupacabra? Let The Urban Cowboy know!

I’m going to go with ugly ass dog too. I hope it’s not El Chup, it’s kinda like knowing what the Loc Ness was. It’s better to be fiction!

Perhaps a poor little mangy dog, or even a fawn, but definitely not…

I have no idea, I know when my sister and I saw our “mutant monkey” on a trail ride, I came across the chupacabra in my research, but it did not fit the description. I do believe strange creatures can exist, but I also think it could probably be just a coyote or dog with some bad case of genetics/disease.

As my sister says, we did come across a strange creature on a trail ride recently. To me, it looks similar to the one pictured, only because of the short hair and the tail. I didn’t get a good look at the face. But I don’t know if a Chupacabra is real. I always go back and forth on strange things out there. Like PG says, could be something with bad genes or disease.

That thing is UGLY.

Last year, they thought they found a Chupacabra in SA too and it looked exactly like that. I’m convinced someone out there is breeding nasty hairless dogs and planting them to keep the myth alive. They’ve probably got a chupacrabra store or something.

But I do think they exist. I think they’re too smart to let us see them.

I’m speechless. This is so wrong on so many levels. First of all, what DUMBASS would put POISON out to capture any living being, especially a never-seen-before creature. What kind of sub-basement, cousin-dating mentality are we dealing with that thinks KILLING any living creature to preserve it in a jar of formaldehyde is the best course of action?!? I’m willing to believe that there are things that remain a mystery to us, but it’s too much of a stretch for me to believe that someone this STUPID & destructive would be the person the Universe would choose to make the discovery. I’m no expert, but this animal looks like a premature fawn or a dog. Whoever it is, lying dead on that porch, this story breaks my heart.
